Indian Equipment Analysis: Motor Graders (April 2019)
Off-Highway Research's Equipment Analyses are a rigorous evaluation of the structure and development of demand for one product in the UK, France, Germany and Italy in the European Service, and in China and India.
Typical coverage includes:
|Construction activity||Market Shares||Market Size and Trends|
|Marketing and Distribution||Domestic Production||Population and End Users|
|Component Supply||Forecasts||Foreign Trade|
This report concerns the Indian market for motor graders and is an update of the subject last analysed by Off-Highway Research in March 2017. It presents an assessment of the prevailing business environment, changing market trends, the operations of the main suppliers in the country, and a market forecast for the next five years.
This study includes only purpose-built motor graders but does not include grader attachment on backhoe loaders and skid-steer loaders.
In this report, all machines are classified by their engine output, so that similarly powered motor graders can be compared, although it is quite common for customers to request a machine by blade width. However, to compare machines only by blade width might lead to confusion because it is normal for a motor grader to be sold with different sizes of blades depending on the application for which the machine is to be used.
Findings presented in this report are based on Off-Highway Research’s existing database, and research carried out in India during February and March 2019 through an interview programme which included all major manufacturers and distributors.
